Multi-instrumentalist, John W. Andrews has been
playing in bands and recording since the early 70’s. After several years of local (Seattle) performances
and road gigs with various bands as guitarist and keyboardist, he began focusing on the recording studio and
writing original music. By the early 1990’s he had acquired his first publishing deal and began a string of his
recordings being played on television, corporate videos and movies. Credits included NBC’s Saturday Night Live,
1996 Olympics, among others.
As his personal recording studio (JWA Music) grew in size and quality, he was able to give up using commercial
studios and produce top notch recordings on his own. With the assistance and collaboration of many musician
friends, John continues to generate new music as composer, musician and producer in a variety of genres.

Brickhenge represents some of John’s instrumental works composed, produced and performed in his home studio,
JWA Music, in Los Angeles, California and Seattle, during the mid 1990’s. Among the studio tools that John
utilized during the tracking of these recordings was a Tascam 85-16B 1" 16 track recorder, Tascam M-520
mixing console and Kawai Q-80 sequencer synced to tape with a JL Cooper PS-2. Not a computer in
sight for these recordings!
